Cross Country and making butter!

What a beautiful day it was for our Cross Country race! We were all fired up and ready to run.

Bang! Kelly clacked the blocks together and we were off! We raced as hard as we could. Over the hay bales and down the hill to a sprint finish. Yay! We did it!

Look at these super runners!

We had another visit from our buddy class who are helping us become 'budding' scientists! They brought with them some cream and salt and crackers. We put the cream into plastic containers with a marble in each. Then we shook and shook and shook the container. We noticed the cream changing before our very eyes. Soon it turned into two different substances. One milky and thin, the other thick and yellowy. The thin one was butter milk and the other was actual butter. We spread it on crackers and tried it. Yum! Clever us. Thanks buddy class.
